Village Sim is a village simulator where you care for and nurture a tribe of little people by teaching them the basics of survival. The object of the game is to grow a small village in your Palm OS: there is food to forage, huts to build, technologies to research and diseases to fight! As the village grows and prospers perhaps they will uncover secrets about the mysterious island that they have found themselves on. |

When the villager is successful he/she will carry a bowl of delicious berries to the granary in order to store food and feed the tribe.
You can click directly on the granary and check how much food your villagers have gathered.
Remember that it can take a couple of tries before your little people are successful at this skill.
Foraging is the basic level to keep your villagers alive. Later when you upgrade their technology levels, they will discover new ways of finding food. |

Grab a villager and drag him/ her to the research table in the center of the map. By doing so you train your villager to becoming a scientist!
When villagers succeed at research, technology points are accumulated. |
You can spend tech points, just like money, on 6 different categories. Click on the TECH button and you will be directed to the Technology Screen.
You will notice that your initial population has already attained the first level of each technology, your challenge will be to improve their knowledge and technologies
which will enable them to do new things and do them better. |

Breeding is very easy: just drag a man onto a woman or a woman onto a man. If they are in the mood (not too hungry, nor sick..), and if they get along, they will decide to "go indoors" to have some privacy. If you are lucky a stork may visit the village and bring new babies! |

When a villager is sick, he will tend to cough, slow down and rest. Drag another villager
on top of the sick one and he/she will try to heal him/her. By doing so, he/she will also gain healing skills and will be very handy to have around within the tribe.
You can "buy" medicine tech levels to reduce the incidence of disease and improve the success rate of healing. |

Exploring the Island |

With their survival needs met, your villagers will start to be curious about their new island home. You can drag them to different locations on the map to see if they interact with what is there. Note that your villagers will be confused about many things on the island until they improve various types of research or achieve other tasks.
What mysteries lie hidden on this island? Who lived here before? What is the large, sparkling rock for? |

How you manage your human resources is the most important thing to consider
There is more than one approach to solving the game
Upgrading to higher tech levels will allow the villagers to improve their skills and add many new behaviors
Male breeders will impregnate many women, but female breeders will only seek out one mate
Nursing mothers will not do anything else for the duration of the nursing
